Mailer Box Specifications
Explore the various options to customize your mailer box and deliver products to your customers in style.
Material
Mailer Boxes are made from durable corrugated cardboard. We use recycled materials to manufacture the boxes.
- White: It is the most common corrugated material used to manufacture mailer boxes. It can produce any color with high-quality printing and is available in a matte or glossy finish.
- Brown Kraft: Our natural kraft corrugated cardboard material is brown on the outside and inside, providing a rustic look. It is an ideal choice for eco-conscious brands or organic products. It produces dark colors and works well with minimal designs.
Flute Thickness
- E-Flute: This is 1/16″ (1mm to 1.5mm) thick and is most commonly used in e-commerce.
Lock Style
Mailer boxes are mainly designed with Roll end tuck front style (RETF).
- Roll End Front Tuck With Dust Flaps: The top of the box folds over to close the box and the front flaps of the lid tuck into the sides of the box to keep content secure. The dust flaps on the side of the box fold inwards to give strength and dust protection during shipping.
Printing
All our mailer packaging is produced with eco-friendly and water-based ink, which prints brighter and more vibrant colors.
- CMYK: Stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key (Black). These are the four main colors used in color printing.
- Pantone: It is used to produce accurate brand colors and is more expensive compared to CMYK.
Coating
Coating is added to the printed designs of mailer boxes to protect them from damage, enhance their appearance, and preserve print quality.
- Varnish: It is a water-based, eco-friendly coating applied to the inside and outside of boxes to protect the designs. However, it is less protective and more expensive.
- Lamination: It is a plastic-coated layer that can be applied to the inside and outside of boxes to protect the designs. It is cost-effective but not eco-friendly.
Finishes
Complete your custom mailer packaging with various finish options to enhance its look.
- Matte: A smooth, non-shiny surface that looks elegant and provides an overall softer look.
- Glossy: A shiny, reflective surface that makes colors look bright and vibrant but can get fingerprints easily.
- Satin: A slightly shiny surface that is between matte and glossy, giving a soft sheen.
- Soft Touch: A velvety, smooth surface that looks like a matte finish and provides a luxurious feel.
Add-ons
Boost the unboxing experience of custom mailer boxes by adding unique features.
- Embossing: Produces a raised pattern on the surface of the material.
- Debossing: Creates a recessed pattern on the surface of the material.
- Window Patching: Incorporates a transparent window to showcase the product inside without opening the package.
- Inserts: Provides additional compartments to securely hold products in place and enhance the presentation.
